David began his career in a specialist technology public relations agency, before moving into a more full-service marketing communication advisory role with Ogilvy & Mather (London). His clients included Hewlett-Packard and Ford UK. Following this, David moved on from account handling at account director level to focus on new business development for the UK's leading broadcast communications consultancy. Client pitches won and later serviced included Vodafone, GlaxoSmithKline, Boots, Rio Tinto, BAT, British Nuclear Fuels, Cadbury's, BT, L'Oreal, COI, BNFL and Hewlett-Packard. His experience covers communication consultancy in full-service advertising agencies, PR consultancies and specialist broadcast and digital communication advisory roles. In 2000, David began teaching at London Metropolitan University in both a PR and wider marketing communications role, whilst retaining a number of external communications consultancy roles.
