John Scott is a Senior Lecturer in Construction at the School of the Built Environment.
More about John Scott
John is a chartered structural and civil engineer with over thirty years experience of designing and constructing buildings in commercial practice. Throughout his career he has maintained a keen interest in academic affairs, as well as the education and training of next generation of construction professionals. John is now able to utilise this experience in his teaching and research activities.
John is currently leading the teaching of structural principles and materials science, providing support on the engineering appraisal of prospective construction sites, substructure design and construction, and other key areas of construction technology.
