Student Services

Students are asked to book appointments for all services (except counselling) through our student hubs. Until further notice, counselling appointments should be booked directly through Student Services.

The Department of Student Services provides much of the support you might need during the course of your studies. Student Services should be your first port of call if you are looking to maximise your potential and make the most of your student experience, are having problems with finances or in finding accommodation, are planning for your future career, are wanting more connection with others, require support with a physical or mental health disability or are simply worried about missing the good things in life.

  • initial assessment of your need by our expert team
  • courteous, professional, client centred service—our students are at the heart of our service
  • bespoke information and advice, tailored to your individual needs and delivered by professionals
  • printed materials from all of our specialist services
  • information on all of our specialist services to help you
  • referral to our Quick Query Sessions—same day, no appointment necessary for straightforward enquiries
  • specialist appointments: access to one-to-one information advice and guidance with our expert teams when things are complicated and you need that extra support
