Institutional Strengthening Project (Ukraine)
|
The main objective of the Project was to contribute to civil service reform and development in Ukraine by building capacity in the National Academy of Public Administration to deliver effective and relevant training, research and consultancy services to local and regional governments in Ukraine. The Institutional Strengthening Project was the University’s largest development project with a budget of £2.5m, delivered from February 1994- December 2003. The University has built up a strong relationship with the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) over the years. NAPA is the leading institution for the training, retraining and continuing education of civil and public servants in Ukraine. Through its Centre in Kyiv and four Regional Institutes in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Lviv and Odesa, it offers a range of full-time and part-time courses in public administration designed to support Ukraine's process reforms.
