Dates and Minutes of Board meetings:
The Board of Governors determined (at its meeting on 31st January, 2013) that the minutes of any given meeting of the Board should be published and made available through the University's FOI Publication Scheme 12 months from the date of that meeting. Some items of a commercial or sensitive nature may continue to be redacted under other provisions of the FOIA 2000.

London Metropolitan University is a charity. It is an "Exempt Charity" but not a "Registered Charity". As an Exempt Charity the University has an HMRC Charities Reference Number: X6880, which demonstrates that the Revenue accepts the University's charitable status.

Academic Board:
Academic Board is the University's senior academic committee and London Met’s Vice-Chancellor is its Chair.
The Academic Board acts upon, and implements, the objectives set out in our Strategic Plan in how the University develops strategically and academically, and in how the institution is managed.
Through its management structures and its committee systems, London Met aims to strike a balance between executive management and collegial deliberation.
