Dr. Yanguo Jing is a Principal Lecturer in Computing at the Faculty of Computing. His research areas include mobile and internet technology, mobile learning, intelligent user interfaces, and user modelling. He is a member of the Intelligent Systems Research Centre, the Knowledge Management Research Centre, and the Digital Media Research Group.  Yanguo is actively engaged with industry, work based learning and student employability. He initiated the Student Enterprise Workshop series, (video) in the Faculty October 2009 as well as establishing the Microsoft Academy, the Symbian Academy and the Apple iPhone University Developer Programme in the faculty. He also manages the faculty's Industrial Liaison Group
