- Translation of the ENGLAND 2006 World Cup Bid document into French and Spanish, Japan / Korea World Cup 2002 Media Guide; also on-going translation of Communiqué, the FA's quarterly newsletter into French and Spanish.

- A 6-year specialised French project designed and implemented by ELS, teaching 96 international train drivers, plus train managers and customer service personnel.
- This was a customised 600-hour multimedia French programme taking learners from beginner level to operational fluency preparing them for certification by French authorities.
- The contribution made by the developmet of this course to business language learning was recognised by winning a National Training Award in 1996.
