Blended Language Learning

Blended Language Learning combines the inspiration and motivation of a classroom-based course with the fun and flexibility of guided self-study and e-learning!

How does Blended Language Learning work?

  • Your teacher comes to your offices to teach one two-hour lesson per week, or more if so requested. A negotiable programme is followed and the teacher also uses this time to cover the real business-related areas that were requested in the initial Needs Analysis process. This is done using role-plays, scenarios and vocabulary, as well as authentic texts from the Internet and the press and video and audio recordings.
  • In between lessons you are asked to complete self-study tasks either with the help of various support materials (audio and videocassettes, books, CD-ROMs plus the Internet) or through our own online programmes called e-packsĀ© depending on the language and level you are following.
  • For all Blended Language Learning courses, there are 12 units in each level and it should take a minimum of 60 learning hours to complete each level. Each week we recommend that learners cover 5 hours of language practice: 2 hours of taught lessons plus a recommended 3 hours self-study.
