Graduate Centre

Building code: GC

Built directly on Holloway Road between the Tower Building and the Rocket Complex, the Graduate Centre provides excellent teaching resources for our students.

Facilities at the Graduate Centre include a state-of-the-art lecture theatre, three seminar rooms, IT facilities and a social space for students. It inspires both lecturers and students alike and the bold space gives the community an interesting and distinctive presence.

Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Daniel Libeskind, the Graduate Centre has won many accolades including the RIBA Prize in 2004, and also a special prize in the Royal Fine Art Commission Trust's Building of the Year Awards: the Jeu d'Esprit award 2005.

The Graduate Centre is located opposite Holloway Road Tube station, served by the Piccadilly line, and is also very close to the Victoria line and Overground at Highbury & Islington station. This building is only used as an entrance for specific activities or events. At all other times, the Graduate Centre can be accessed by staff and students via the Tower Building or Rocket complex (when these buildings are open).
