Safety Meetings
The University has a formally constituted HEALTH & SAFETY COMMITTEE (HSC), chaired by the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, which is a Safety Committee under the requirements of the Safety Representatives and Safety Committees Regulations 1977.
The HSC meets three times per academic year and the meetings have the following themes:
October - Annual Health & Safety Report to the Board of Governors
February - Health & Safety Policy Development
May - Health & Safety Performance Management
Regular Reports are presented to each meeting on:

The date of the next University Health & Safety Committee will be some time in late February/early March 2012 and will be posted here soon. This will be the second meeting for the academic year 2011-12.
There are Departmental and Faculty Health & Safety Committees established across the University, which meet from once to six times each year.
