In this section we plan to provide downloadable files with information and instructions on fire safety at London Met. These include what to do on hearing the fire alarm, evacuation routes and assembly points for London met buildings, Fire Risk Assessment Guidance and Worksheets and information on personal emergency evacuation plans for those who have disabilities that may affect their ability to leave a building in the event of a fire.
GENERAL FIRE INSTRUCTIONS
On hearing fire alarm leave by the nearest exit

Do not stop to collect belongings
u
Do not use lifts
u
Go to assembly point u
Designated person reports to the Evacuation Controller
(The Evacuation Controller will be the senior member of Estates Front of House staff, will be wearing a high visibility jacket and holding a clip board)
