Information for Collaborative Students

Welcome to London Metropolitan University!

London Met collaborates with a number of institutions both in the UK and overseas in the delivery of University awards. All partner institutions are subject to a full scrutiny of their ability to delivery university-level education and therefore all awards made via the University’s partners are of an equivalent standard to awards delivered directly by the University.

In order to do this there are a number of mechanisms in place, including institutional and academic liaison, a contract and various monitoring processes. The University is ultimately responsible for the academic quality of the course and will ensure that external reference points (such as those published by the Quality Assurance Agency), and internal policies are followed.

As a student on a course that leads to an award from LondonMet there are a number of entitlements you have to our services and facilities. The information given below should help you to understand what is on offer. If you have any questions then please get in touch with your course leader at your home institution and they should be able to provide some more assistance.

Good luck with your studies!

This presentation gives you some more information on what it means to be a student studying on a London Met course at a partner college. It contains information about how we ensure your course is of the appropriate standard; the Library and IT facilities that we offer to you; and details about the London Met Students Union.

This Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document outlines the enrolment process at London Met. All students must be enrolled both with their college and the University, but only certain colleges are invited to enrol their students directly at the University. If your college is involved then they will inform you of this in advance.
