If you're thinking of applying to a university, take the time to attend an open day and make sure you get a feel for what life would be like as a student there. |
Taster courses |

A chance to try out a course before you apply, taster days are held at universities and offer the opportunity to experience life as a student on a particular course. The content of taster courses can vary but generally you'll attend sample lectures, and seminars and perhaps even try out some of the university facilities such as labs and design studios. The idea is that you'll come away from the day with a better insight into how a subject is taught at university. |
