Date: 09 September 2013
The International Office was delighted to host a visit by key staff from the International Office of the Moscow Higher Business School, MIRBIS, in August, as part of their visit to the UK.

Mark Bickerton, Director of the International Office, and Alex Malley, Head of International Recruitment, met with Elena Zoubkova, Vice-Rector of International Development and Maria Safonova, Director of International Relations, of MIRBIS, to discuss the long-term collaboration between our two institutions.  MIRBIS, an AMBA-accredited business school based in Moscow runs London Met's MBA and MA HRM in Moscow.

The partnership between London Met and MIRBIS has been running successfully for many years. As part of this collaboration, there has been much staff and student mobility between London Met and MIRBIS. Many London Met staff visit Moscow regularly to teach on the programme, and to undertake joint research projects in Russia, and there are regular visits to London by the staff and students of MIRBIS.

"MIRBIS and London Met are old friends, and we have worked together for many years through our MBA partnership", said Mark Bickerton.  "Its important to us that our MBA faculty have opportunities to learn about contemporary Russian business and management, and to gain international exposure through this successful partnership."
