The International Office welcomes the help of five overseas students to help showcase the international student experience.

Peijun Tang, from China, studying BSc Herbal Medicinal Science (top-up), hopes to be able to bring more information about what it is like studying at London Met to the Chinese audience on Chinese online channels. Yudai Sato, from Japan, studying MA Conference Interpreting, is surprised to be the only Japanese student on his course but is looking forward to using his language skills to help other Japanese students hoping to study here.

Giulia Mella from Italy, studying MA Interpreting, is trilingual and speaks both English, Spanish and Italian fluently. Yekaterina Kologorova, from Kazahhstan, studying LLM International Human Rights and Social Justice, speaks both Kazakh and Russian fluently and also has her own website and blog writing about healthy living and travel. Lastly, Richàrd Henry Singletary, II, from the USA, studying MA International Business, has experience of studying in both his home country and in Japan.

Richàrd says "As international students ourselves, we really want to share our day-to-day experiences of being London Met students coming from many different countries. The decision to become an international student can be a difficult one and we hope we can show you that the inviting and encouraging atmosphere here makes it worth the challenge".

The international student ambassadors will be mainly using social networking platforms to showcase their student experience. You can find the international social channels here.
