London Met make final round of international image contest
London Metropolitan University’s International Office has made it to the last round in a social media image contest. Thirty images have been selected from eighty institutions across five countries and have been uploaded on the Hotcourses Abroad Facebook page to be voted on by the public. The institution with the most votes will win a bursary to give to an international student.
Images range from scenic sunsets to smiling students in front of campus statues and encapsulate all that is good about each institution. The inspirational photos show that often it is a picture that says a thousand words.
London Metropolitan University’s entry shows off our London location and our international diverse student population. The additional welcome sign to the left of the picture reflects our welcoming environment.
Steve Blunt, the University's photographer says, "The street display was receiving a lot of attention that evening and I was fortunate to be passing on my way home. It had a very international theme so I took a few shots thinking it may be useful for the International Office stock of London images."
