NATIONAL COLLEGE OF RUBBER TECHNOLOGY TO THE LONDON METROPOLITAN POLYMER CENTER

Not a lot has changed in the appearance of this building as anyone familliar with our section of the present University would know!

The National College of Rubber technology was formed in 1948.

I have put together a montage of photos depicting life in the National College over the early years. If anybody recognises themselves or can put a name to any of the faces we would be very pleased to hear from you. In addition if anyone attended the National College of Rubber Technology, later known as the London School of Polymer Technology, now London Metropolitan Polymer Centre, and would like to include their name on our Alumni list then please get in touch with me, Dr Alicia Chrysostomou on a.chrysostomou@londonmet.ac.uk .

This picture was taken in 1948 in the rubber moulding shop....

And these pictures were taken in 1964....

Studying hard....

Enjoying a sports day.....

SOME THINGS NEVER CHANGE!
