London Met graduate in case of online Vertigo

Not so long ago, Gautham Ravindram was taking his MA in Digital Media. Now his CV boasts something even more prestigious: a new website for international film magazine Vertigo. Gautham designed and developed a complete content management system for the site, which includes regular podcasts and electronic newsletters to accompany the traditional glossy quarterly magazine.

Established over ten years ago and with 3,500 copies distributed across the globe, the magazine keeps a lively, creative and diverse readership informed about the work of the independent film and video sectors worldwide. It also participates in key events, hosting panels and debates on independent film and film policy. The new website, courtesy of London Met graduate Gautham, will take its growing readership to new heights.

The project was funded through a grant from the enterprise bureau - an EU funded knowledge transfer initiative - and was lead by Chris Lane a Principal Lecturer working in the digitla media area.

Interative media is a research specialism within the department and enquiries for post-graduate study are invited in these areas. Enquire here.
