Dr James Bennett is Senior Lecturer in Media Studies and admissions tutor for Media Studies and Mass Communications Undergraduate degrees. His research interests include interactivity and public service broadcasting; television as a digital media form; digital media, copyright and digital rights management systems; the aesthetics of digital media; production cultures; Australian cinema and multiculturalism; Hollywood cinema; intellectual property, indigenous peoples and travelogue programmes; celebrity cultures; performance in television; and television personalities.
