My professional background is in District Nursing (1994-2003) during which time I worked both in Yorkshire and central London, latterly working as a Specialist Practice Teacher.

I have been a prescriber since 1999 and I joined the University in 2003. One of my research interests is e-learning and we have a website dedicated to prescribing.

I am treasurer and member of the Association of District Nurse Educators.
