Edd Carter

Edd started working at London Met in 2007, seconded part time from Camden Social Services and in 2008 he accepted a full time position. Prior to this Edd worked as a qualified social worker for 8 years and is an approved social worker (ASW). His experience and practice interests lie in the field of learning disabilities and mental health

Research interests: Learning Disabilities and Mental Health- Duel diagnosis; adult social care; social work training

Currently teaches on the following modules: Planning Care for Adults (UG); Living with Illness and Disability (UG); Professional Law (PG); Introduction to the Assessment of Need and Risk (UG), Personalisation and Self Directed Support PQ module; Best Interest Assessor Programme
