Suzanne Cohen documentary screened in Parliament

Suzanne Cohen, Lecturer in MA Digital Media, will have several screenings of her documentary 'Beautiful Sentence' at the House of Commons in a series of events aiming to influence policy makers on social justice and prison reform.

The film follows poet Leah Thorn, writer-in-residence at HMP Bronzefield, a women's prison in Middlesex, as she sets up a series of creative writing workshops for a group of inmates.

Leah will also be launching 'Release', a book of poetry by female prisoners, illustrated with stills from the film which is being provided free of charge to women in prison.

'Beautiful sentence' is available to see on Suzanne's vimeo profile here.
