Second Research Degree for Professional Doctorate Course Leader

Congratulations to Dr Nick Ridley - who has become Dr Nick Ridley again! Nick who is the course leader for the Professional Doctorate in Policing, Security and Community Safety gained his second doctorate last week.  This one was awarded from London Metropolitan University. The topic was an analysis of the causes of the failures of a decade of international efforts against terrorist financing since the 9/11 attacks. It involved reviewing previous publications, interviews with anti terrorist practitioners, assessing the impact - positive and adverse - of international anti terrorist financing resolutions and regulatory measures. It also illuminates the modes of operation that terrorists use to finance their activities.
