John Grieve centre in Italy and Turkey

In October 2010, criminology staff, through the John Grieve Centre gave a training input at the NATO Centre of Excellence - Defence against Terrorism, Ankara. Dr Nick Ridley, together with academics from, Turkish universities and specialists from the Turkish Army, delivered sessions on anti terrorist financing.
In October 2010, Nick Ridley gave a series of lectures on behalf of John Grieve Centre to students on the International Master's course in Transnational Financial Organised Crime at the University of Teramo Italy. The lecturing sessions concerned the financing of terrorism. The course intake included students from Italy, Mexico, Iraq, Kosovo, and Canada.
Dr Nick Ridley is the course leader for the “Professional Doctorate in “Policing, Security and Community Safety”. He also teaches on the Criminology Masters.
