City Campus Students Organise World AIDS Day Human Rights Event

A unique forum and performance was held in December to mark World AIDS Day.
The event was organised by undergraduate students in the Department of Applied Social Sciences including Theresa Gorases (pictured above), Yeukai Taruvinga, Samuel A. Ntiamoah,Taryn Wint, Diane Joseph and Emma Petersson-Strelert.
The programme included, Garry Brought, from the Terence Higgins Trust, Professor George Ellison, Director of the London Metropolitan University Graduate School, Mudani Productions who delivered a short drama performance, a poetry reading from Taryn Wint and Namibian musician Simon Amutjira. Organisers and DASS students Theresa Gorases and Yeukay Turavinga from Generation Positive Action also spoke.
