Tara Young
Tara Young, Senior Research Fellow
Tara graduated from the University of Bristol with a First Class degree in Sociology and completed a Master's degree in Criminology at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She joined the Centre for Social and Evaluation Research as Research Fellow in January 2004 after three years with the Mannheim Centre for Criminology and Criminal Justice Policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has worked on a diverse range of projects although her recent work has concentrated on group delinquency. She is currently working on several national and international projects focusing on understanding the extent and nature of gang membership in the UK and a pan-European gang intervention project. Main interests are youth crime and criminal justice, gender, research methodology and restorative justice.
