Call For Papers
The conference consists of presented papers, tutorial workshops and technical presentations and includes:
- Pedagogical issues concerning Java & the Internet in the curriculum
- Experience of teaching with and about Java & other Internet technologies
- Educational implications of technical developments in Java & the Internet
Previously known as the Java In the Computing Curriculum Conference, coverage is now extended to other ways in which the Internet has impacted upon the computing curriculum and led to new degree programmes in Internet Computing and eCommerce. For example, in addition to Java, we welcome contributions on strategies for teaching and learning the following topics:
- Markup and Scripting languages
- Multimedia & the Web
- eCommerce & Usability
- Security & encryption
- Databases & the Net
- Web Architectures, Frameworks & Services
Please submit conference papers (approximately 4-5 sides of A4 in doc or rtf format with a margin of at least 2.5cm all round and a single column of 11pt Times New Roman for the main text) to jicc@londonmet.ac.uk by Wednesday 22nd November 2006
