Dietetics - BSc (Hons)
The Dietetics BSc degree is an intensive course, designed to support you in developing the necessary skills to become a dietitian in three years.
Dietetics and Nutrition - BSc (Hons)
This degree will help you develop the relevant knowledge and skills to become a dietitian. You'll study life and nutritional sciences, exploring the role of diet and nutrition in disease prevention and treatment.
Human Nutrition - BSc (Hons)
If you're passionate about improving human health through better nutrition and disease prevention, this course, accredited by the Association for Nutrition, will give you an excellent grounding in both scientific and applied public health nutrition.

People are more aware of the importance of diet, lifestyle and physical activity in maintaining a healthy lifestyle in order to prevent illness and disease. By studying health and nutrition with us, you'll gain a thorough understanding of nutrition and its role within the promotion of health and prevention of disease. Our courses combine the study of a diverse range of areas including health, nutrition, psychology and sociology.
Our students benefit from access to our stunning, world-class £30 million Science Centre, which features a SuperLab with more than 280 workstations. The SuperLab is one of the largest and most advanced science teaching facilities in Europe, and offers exceptional teaching and research facilities, which allows our students a cutting-edge experience. It houses specialist laboratories, such as nutritional physiology and food technology labs.

Many career paths to choose from
Our courses are accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN) and the British Dietetic Association, as well as the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST). Our graduates have gone on to work for organisations including Nestlé Health Science, the NHS, The Nutrition Society, the World Obesity Federation and in roles such as consultant nutritionists and food technologists.

Employability is at the heart of our education ethos. Here at London Met we are immensely proud of our employability record. 97.73% of graduates from the School of Human Sciences were either in work or further study within six months of graduating (Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education survey 2016–17, released July 2018).
