Interior Architecture and Design - BA (Hons)
Interior architecture and design is a distinct, rigorous practice that requires a specialist way of thinking about how we occupy complex interior spaces. As a practice, it applies to buildings and urban communities and involves thinking about how interior elements and the materiality of spaces are brought together at a human scale to accommodate and delight.
Are you interested in buildings and intrigued by the evolution of the built environment? If so, then architecture may be the course for you.
The study of architecture encompasses not only buildings and other physical structures, but also the art and science of designing buildings, and the design and method of construction, making it a highly creative field.
At London Met you will be taught by leading industry architects such as RIBA Stirling Prize winner Peter St John and be introduced to top practices such as Feilden Fowles, the Building Design Young Architects of The Year 2016.
Industry and workplace links
Based in the heart of London, we maintain strong relationships with industry and workplace partner organisations as well as professional bodies and public service organisations. Many of our courses are also endorsed and accredited by professional bodies, including the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
