Public Health Nutrition and Food Microbiology Research Group
The group was established in 2013 by David McCarthy with the purpose of bringing together and consolidating the research activities of the registered nutritionists and food microbiologists within the School of Human Sciences as well as external collaborators and associate members.
To help address the major nutrition and food-related issues that affect populations at the local, national and global levels through the generation of evidence from of high-quality scientific research and providing opportunities for postgraduate research training.
