Extended Degrees with Foundation Year: Architecture and Interior Design; Art and Design; Fashion and Textiles; Film, Photography and Media
"The Foundation Year at The Cass continues to develop its strong identity as the starting point for many of our students and as an introduction to the wide range of creative practices from the architecture, art and design schools that make up the school.
For the students on extended degrees, the Foundation Year is a preparatory course ahead of joining one of the school’s BA courses; the students are often clear about the subject they intend to study at BA. The Foundation Year also works as a diagnostic course for those who have creative ability but are unclear about the direction to take it in and for those who have an interest in creativity but have yet to put ‘put it to the test’ of making."
Chi Roberts, Head of Cass Foundation
