The major studio project work focuses on sound in animation and includes: lip-sync, music videos, title sequences, and cutscenes for games. Sound is one of the more complex and layered aspects of animation. It drives many stages of the production process, from storyboarding to timing for animation, through to editing. Any change in the animation can have a significant impact on the sound and vice versa. So planning and preproduction are essential skills for the animator.
