View the work of students on the course, on the third floor of Central house. Students from each year will be exhibiting work alongside their contemporaries from BA (Hons) Furniture and Product Design.
Work produced by students in the first year shows their intensive engagement with the design and making process. Designing for themselves, they concentrate on the basics of designing and making. Their work combines a range of materials and processes.
By year 2, students work within creative studios, this year: Self-Production / Co-design, Reborn/ Revisit or the London College of Furniture studios.
Designers & makers are ready to take on the challenge of working for the community and try their talent producing for clients and/or by commission. Choosing to specialise or examine closely a particular area or field that interests them, individual projects arrive in response to the world at large.
All graduates are eager and committed to making every effort to produce both functional and beautiful final pieces.
