About the show
Contemporary textile design is central to the worlds of fashion, products and interiors. Our show reveals how the exploration of these fields, exercising individual creativity through visual research, design and textile production, results in exciting, innovative and technically advanced designs. All the projects exhibited at our summer graduation show have been made in our outstanding industry standard print, weave, knit and mixed media workshops at The Cass. We have a very wide range of traditional and advanced digital production facilities and encourage experimentation and cross-disciplinary working.
We are also closely linked with our industry. Each year we undertake a live project with a commercial partner to further our students’ awareness of commercial needs and opportunities. This year you can see the work designed and made by students for our partner, Marks and Spencer and their womenswear and homeware collections.
