Artwork competition for 28 Brick Lane
Cass Projects and Tower Hamlets Council launched a competition to design artwork for the wall of 28 Brick Lane, a high profile site on the corner of Brick Lane and Chicksand Street.
Cass students were invited to submit concept designs responding to Tower Hamlets desire to reflect the cultural significance of the area, improving wayfinding and making connections between between Brick Lane and Petticoat Lane markets.
The shortlisted designs, by Architecture BA student Dan Stilwell (left image) and Architecture RIBA 2 MArch student Stavros Skordis (right image), were chosen by the Brick Lane Town Centre team and will be developed alongside the installers.
