Victoria Atuahene graduated from London Met with a Computer Networking BSc in 2011.
What were the advantages of studying at London Met?
Studying at London Met helped me increase my confidence. The CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) module taught me about how networks are run and the security aspects of IT networking. I found my job on a student-focused website called graduatejobs.com. I also volunteered for a charity called Embrace that helps people from other countries outside of the UK find employment. This experience was useful in aiding me to find my current job.
Studying at London Met helped gain me the skills, knowledge and the courage to pursue a career in IT.
What is your current role?
I am now an IT Support Technician for one of the UK's leading accountancy and business advisory firms.
