Luke is the Course Leader on the Architecture and Interior Design Extended Degree (Foundation). He lectures in history and theory on the Extended Degree and Architecture BA courses, and is an ARB-registered architect.
Luke completed his MA in Architecture at the Bartlett in 2011, and is a partner at Mill & Jones, an architecture and design practice working on small projects across architecture, making, illustration and branding. Recent projects have considered issues of public space, identity, recycled materials and culture, in the context of retail, street furniture, and education.
With Anna Mill, Luke has produced a long-form comic book called Square Eyes, published by Jonathan Cape. Set in the near future, it considers consequences of augmented reality technologies on the material fabric and social use of the city.
He is co-host of a podcast About Buildings and Cities, exploring architectural history, theory, process and ideas from the distant past to the present day, plus detours into technology, film, fiction, comics, drawings, and the dimly imagined future.
