Jessie Bustillos Morales
Senior Lecturer in Education Studies
Jessie Bustillos Morales is a lecturer in education studies at London Metropolitan University. She is currently teaching on modules looking at the theoretical, philosophical and sociological intersections between education, culture and technologies. This teaching feeds into her current research which is an online ethnography exploring young people's experiences as networked public on various social media.
Jessie leads modules which look at inclusion, SEN and social justice through a critical lens in order to deconstruct these notions both in theory and practice whilst developing a wider view of education. She also teaches at master's level, where critical theory is used as heuristic tool to re-pose questions about education, knowledge and power.
