Biography
Dorothy Balhatchet is the course leader for Dietetics BSc (Hons).
Teaching and research interests
Dorothy is the course leader for Dietetics BSc (Hons), and also teaches on the Dietetics and Nutrition BSc (Hons). She is responsible for:
- pre-placement preparation to arrange suitable adjustments for students with additional needs, eg disabilities or dyslexia at London Met, as well as ongoing support for these students and placement sites during and after placements
- the co-ordination of the repeat placement programme at London Met and preparation for placement for repeat placement and out of cohort students
- supporting student lead trainers and their training teams including delivery of supervisory skills training
- working within the placement team at London Met to support pre-placement preparation and students on placement as necessary
- organising career events
