Carlos joined the University of North London (now London Metropolitan University) in 1999 as an hourly paid lecturer until September 2008, when he was appointed Senior Lecturer and Spanish Coordinator for the Open Language Programme.
Carlos's main area of expertise is the preparation of assessment material at all levels and the production of seminars in Spanish grammar with special emphasis on its use and practicality.
In 2003 he wrote and co-devised the Spanish e-packs for levels 1.1 and 1.2 as part of the self-study programme at London Met, also successfully used by other universities as part of their Spanish language programme.
