Join us at London Metropolitan University on an art, architecture or design-related postgraduate course taught at The Sir John Cass School of Art, Architecture and Design (The Cass). You'll find a full listing of the postgraduate courses we have available below.
Recognition of students’ work is widespread. Architecture student Charles Mugisha’s competition-winning street furniture was installed on Aldgate High Street and can be seen, and sat upon, as you walk to Aldgate station; three students won awards at the prestigious RIBA President’s Medals 2016 for their innovative work in architecture; and alumna Hannah Thompson was awarded a Leverhulme Trust Grant to be Senate House Library’s first artist-in-residence. There have been some very prominent awards for staff too. In December 2015, Assemble won the Turner Prize. The group includes architecture alumni and now Professional Diploma Unit leaders. In 2016, Caruso St John, where Cass tutor Peter St John is a partner, won the RIBA Stirling Prize.
