London School of Business and Finance, and London Metropolitan University agree new strategic partnership
London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) and London Metropolitan University (London Met) have today announced a new partnership to deliver quality, industry-relevant, higher education.
Under the partnership a suite of new London Met-validated undergraduate, postgraduate and professional programmes will be delivered by LSBF at its UK campuses, for both UK and international students.
The new range of programmes will provide students with an inspirational academic education. Students will have the opportunity to specialise in a wide range of relevant, fast-growing areas of business, from Financial and Marketing Management, to Entrepreneurship and Luxury Brand Management.
LSBF’s mission is to provide specialised degrees and to give professionals from different industries the necessary knowledge in business to develop their careers worldwide. London Met is committed to providing affordable quality education for students from the widest range of backgrounds, both national and international.
Professor James Kirkbride, Vice Rector of London School of Business and Finance said:
“LSBF is proud to be a new partner of London Metropolitan University. We work exclusively with partners who not only share our values, but offer the very best in higher education standards. London Met is at the forefront of changes in the British Higher Education sector, and their focus on student experience, career support and employability is central to LSBF’s ethos.
“Partnerships in Higher Education work because they are based on each institution bringing their respective strengths to the table for collective success. This partnership will not only greatly boost our course offering, but will open up a world of choice and opportunity for students.”
London Metropolitan University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Malcolm Gillies said:
“This partnership with LSBF is a large-scale initiative that builds upon London Met’s 10-year history of validating courses offered by many different institutions. London Met itself has been delivering business education in London since 1848, and our contribution has become vital to the life-blood of London and further afield.
“It has always been part of our University’s agenda to provide quality education to the broadest possible group of students. This partnership with LSBF supports our entrepreneurial and innovative approach to Higher Education.
“We see this as a strategic alliance of benefit to both institutions. London Met brings traditional university strengths and a strong record of validation. LSBF brings its knowledge of the emerging market, particularly in terms of niche-based business and finance studies.”
The new relationship means that LSBF and London Metropolitan University have agreed a deep and integrative partnership in student service provision, including joint sponsorship of international students.
