Academic entry requirements

Entry to:



International Foundation Programme


Overall score of 10 out of 20.


One of the folllowing qualifications:

Baccalauréat with an overall score of 11 out of 20 or more

Brevet de Technicien (BT) with an overall grade of ‘11’ or above

Brevet Professionnel (BP) with an overall grade of ‘11’ or above

Diplome d’Etat de Technicien with an overall grade of ‘12’ or above. 

Extended Degree (four years)

Students who fall slightly below the standard requirements listed for Undergraduate entry may be considered for an available or appropriate Extended Degree Programme.


One of the following examinations:


Diplome from an Ecole Superieure de Commerce/Gestion

Diplome d’Ingenieur



Minimum average grade of ‘assez bien’ (13/20 or above).


Students with Ammattikorkeakoulutukinto [AMK]/ Yrkeshögskoleexamen [YHS] (Bachelors from Polytechnic/ University of Applied Sciences) can be considered if they have relevant work experience.

English and mathematics requirements


(If applicable to course) 


Minimum 10 out of 20 in Baccalauréat.


Bachelors: 12/20 (assez bien) in English in the Option Internationale du Baccalauréat (OIB)

NON-EEA nationals (requiring a Tier 4 student Visa) must provide a Secured English Language Test (SELT) qualification to qualifiy for entry, such as Academic IELTS / Pearson PTE Academic.

Providing your qualifications

Please be sure you are able to provide copies of official certificates of any qualifications you have taken when you make your application (please do not send us your original certificates). If any of your certificates or supporting documents (transcripts) are in a non-English language you will need to provide certified English translations alongside any official copies.
