You will gain practical skills in restoring furniture from structural repairs or replacements all the way to refinishing in the correct oil. Discover the famous names and designers who made unique pieces during this interesting period in furniture design.
This course is aimed at professionals who would like to expand their skill set, keen hobbyists who can appreciate the aesthetics of style and design of mid-century furniture from around the world and those who would like to bring a favourite piece back to life.
Students will provide themselves with two projects in order to have an alternative project to work on while one is drying or clamped and also to increase their learning potential.
