This course will teach you how to produce a portfolio of work which is required when applying for undergraduate courses in architecture.
Highlights include drawing and sketching, visits to current London exhibitions, as well as the basic tools and techniques to present your portfolio with confidence.
During this four-day intensive spring course, you will be guided by architecture and foundation year tutors from The Cass to produce a portfolio of work that can be used as the basis to apply for further study at university level.
The course will focus on understanding spatial observation and interactions within the built environment.

The aim is to develop techniques, improve skills and gain confidence in both observed and experimental drawings and representation.
This course is appropriate for school and college-level students and is structured for 16 to 18 year-olds. It will also support those preparing their AS or A level portfolios who have a specific interest in architectural, interior and three-dimensional design. This course does not require prior knowledge of architecture or design but basic skills in drawing and observation would be useful.

On completion of this course you will be guaranteed an interview after application via UCAS for one of our related BA courses or degrees including foundation year at The Cass.
