London Met's Snap! campaign puts positive change on the weekly agenda

A new campaign from London Met, where every Tuesday and Thursday we will be sharing the changes the University has put in place for you, as suggested by you.

At London Metropolitan University, we are always listening to our students and their suggestions and are always open to new ideas and constructive feedback. In order to show that the University wants exactly the same things that students do, London Met is launching the Snap! campaign to show all the different improvements made in the last year. Every Tuesday and Thursday we will be sharing the changes put in place for you, as suggested by you.

IT and Computing

You said you want access to more computers. Snap! London Met provided 224 high-spec PCs installed in the Learning Centre in summer 2016.

You said you want to be able to borrow laptops. Snap! London Met introduced laptop loan lockers, giving you the ability to get a laptop on loan for up to four hours.

You said you want to charge your electronic devices at a safe place while at the University. Snap! London Met has opened up lap-safes, which can only be activated with your student ID.

You said you want better technology for group collaborations. Snap! London Met installed 65” cutting-edge interactive screens to enhance your learning experience when working as part of a group.

Plus, the University now offers free, unlimited printing, has improved its wireless network throughout the whole building, and can offer free and discounted software packages on Windows and IOS.
