London Met presents the Big House Theatre and Bullet Tongue Reloaded

Tue, 9 March 2021, 16:30 – 18:30 GMT

Bullet Tongue Reloaded is a topical, hard-hitting, powerful and authentic show centred around ‘gang culture’ and County Lines.

Using immersive theatre, The Big House leads its audience into the hidden and thought-provoking world of marginalised young people involved in gang activity. We will take you by the ears and eyes and show you the reality of the voices who often go unheard. Bullet Tongue Reloaded provides the opportunity for the audience to gain a better understanding of these young people’s experience.

The Commons, Community, and Post-Covid Recovery

Thurs, 25 March 2021, 16:30 - 17:30 GMT

This talk by practitioner and academic Torange Khonsari foregrounds how new thinking in the commons brings together all the fragmented concepts such as placemaking, co-production, social wealth-building, community empowerment and trust-building under one practical idea with different methodologies. Its application is timely when Covid-19 has changed the landscape of where we work, socialise, and foregrounds the importance of home security.

London Met Lab: Your questions answered: Fact or fiction- COVID vaccination
Thu, 25 Mar 2021, 1-2 pm

In response to the pandemic and the particular anxieties we can have surrounding the safety of vaccinations, the efficacy of masks and social distancing and the nature and behaviour of the COVID-19 virus itself, London Met Labs is hosting a series of 'Fact or Fiction?' events where an expert panel will answer your pre-submitted questions and explore with you the topics that most concern you and our community.

This is your opportunity to ask things that you may have been shouting at the TV for months, to clarify complex topics and to understand how it all relates to you.
