Decision making and accountability

Fair outcomes programmes are developed in consultation with the Students’ Union, students and subject to review and approval in accordance with University governance. In 2020 the University expanded the committee structure to increase scrutiny and accountability of activities funded by the Access and Participation Plan to ensure we are delivering defensible, evidence-based interventions to address institutional practices that result in disparities in student outcomes.

Workplace inclusivity streams are developed in consultation with staff networks to centre lived experience in our programmatic response. The Centre’s work is further enabled by the entrenchment of fair outcomes and inclusion based key performance indicators within the Vice-Chancellor’s 2019/20 – 2024/25 strategic plan.
