A two-time 2016 award winner in effectiveness from the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) and the European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) Euro Effies, Tricia Croasdell has recently been appointed to the world’s largest conservation organisation, WWF, as the Director of Public Sector Partnerships. She previously worked for over 14 years within the UK Government, most recently as the Director of Communications at the Commonwealth Summit Unit. She started off as a degree student majoring in Cultural Studies and Women’s Studies right here at London Metropolitan University.
Tricia's career began with HM Treasury in 2004 as a Policy Adviser in International Financial Sanctions. Tricia then progressed to the Ministry of Defence, working as the Deputy Head of Media Operations at the Permanent Joint Headquarters (PJHQ) in London where she was involved in managing the in-country military media operations team for Afghanistan and Libya, including oversight of planning and implementation for all UK military media activities in these regions.
Tricia went on to work as the Head of Campaigns in the Prime Minister’s Office from 2014 until 2017.Tricia has also acted as consultant for the UK Governments Communications Service (GCS) overseas, such as for the UNDP Sri Lanka on Sri Lanka’s approach to peace and reconciliation.
