Rolande Anderson is the Senior Independent Governor, Vice Chair and Chair of the People and Remuneration Committee at London Met. She is also a member of the Finance and Resources committee.
Rolande has had a wide-ranging senior career as a Senior Civil Servant, and now works as an independent non-executive director. She is a trustee of Citizens Advice and St Mungo’s. She is also an Associate of the College of Policing and a mentor for the Whitehall and Industry Group Women’s Leadership Programme, as well as an Honorary Associate of Newnham College, Cambridge, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Her roles in government included Director General of the Office for Civil Society in the Cabinet Office, Regional Director of the Government Office for the South-East of England and Chief Executive of the Radiocommunications Agency.
